Since yesterday afternoon I’ve been getting pains every 30-40 mins, I have period like cramps as well. Not overly painful, I was able to get a few hours sleep, less than normal but my sleep hasn’t been great anyway.
I’ve tested positive for strep b, so phoned my MW department and they advised there is no need to go in during the latent phase, thankfully.
Really just looking for peoples stories…
How long did your latent phase of labour last? Did you even notice you were in that phase or did you appear to skip straight to establish labour?
My husband is a self employed tradesman and gets himself stressed that I’ll go into labour and he won’t be able to leave work straight away and miss the whole thing. Want to offer him some reassurance.
