LULU/Camilla i need some advice please!

hey

all of my 3 scans have found placental lakes on my placenta, sonographer wrote 'significant'. now i vaguely know what they are (i dont have txtbooks anymore, ebayed them!)but are they going to affect a HB? will my placenta be a PITA or bleed alot? just any info you know on them please, nothing scary though!

I am fine apart from this, MW appts very few and far between because this is db3.

don;t know anything off the top of my head, but i can look some stuff up and ask on DUK forum on your behalf if you would like?

if you don't mind, i know that they are little 'pockets' of blood on my placenta but im not sure why and how/if they affect the placenta after delivery of db.

This has some information. It sounds as though it shouldn't really be anything to worry about. Have you got an appointment with an OB to discuss it?

They know about it, the MW has said not to worry so im not being referred.

would seem like this is not anything to worry about..esp if you have not been referred.
