I had preeclampsia and had to induced. Giving birth went well but then I had to lie down 24 hours in that same room I that gave a birth. After that I was moved to postnatal ward. I was too tired to ask why I have to do it. Since then I have been wondering why I had to do it.

Possibly to watch you for eclamptic seizures

I had high blood pressure. Weird but I was so out of it that I thought it's normal. After ds I went to post natal straight away.

It’s common to keep women who are unwell or at significant risk of deteriorating on the labour ward rather than sending them straight to post-nates because the ratio of midwives to patients is higher and it’s easier to monitor closely. Pre-eclampsia can deteriorate before it gets better after delivery so perhaps they were worried that may happen to you? If it’s something that’s worrying you you could ask for a debrief.
