Natural labour or induction after waters breaking?

Hi was just wondering about people's experiences of their waters breaking as the first sign of labour. Did you go into labour naturally or did you need an induction?

My waters went at 6 this morning and I'm having very irregular contractions now. I've got to ring back at half 4 in the morning if I'm not in established labour to go in for an induction.

I went into Labour naturally at about midnight (for active Labour) after my waters broke in the morning. Good luck :)

Have also had an induction and both are fine though xx

My waters went spontaneously and hospital said I needed to be induced within 25 hours. I asked for extra time as really didn’t want to be induced. Never got started so was induced about 40 hours after. Didn’t progress so ended up with a section.

Thanks for the experiences so far 😊 I'm hoping to avoid induction as I had one with my first and he got really distressed so was a pretty stressful experience. Still got 14 hours so 🤞🏻

My waters broke at half 7 and the hospital told me to stay home and take some paracetamol, by 10 the contractions were every 5 minutes and I forced the hospital to take me. I was 3cm at 2am and he was born at 4.30am so i would say it all happened rather quickly 😂

Both my pregnancies ended with waters going, no natural labour starting so then being induced. Having said this both births were absolutely fine with no complications. Good luck x
