Hospital bag question

Ok so I am 37 weeks and hospital bag for me is all packed. Baby's bag is almost packed...one thing I'm not sure is what to take in the way of cellular blankets/normal
Blankets/Muslim swaddles/zip swaddles/newborn gro bags

I have one or two of each of these at home but what should I take to hospital? Or do the hospital just give you blankets to use whilst you're there?

Hi OP, I had my first baby in May and I would definitely advise to not overpack. Just bring one or two normal blankets for baby as you hope to be in hospital for the shortest time possible anyway. Once you're home then use a swaddle/sleeping bag or whatever you plan to use

As pp a blanket or two is enough for hospital

They can't go in sleeping bags until around 15 or 20 pounds so you'll need cellular blankets only. Don't use any other blankets as they're a smothering hazard ☺️ x

I agree with @hereforfun don't overpack! I had my baby a week ago and had 3 Blush bags packed! We didn't even have time to get them out the car by the time baby was born and we left a few hours later!

1 blanket will be plenty all our stuff was in the car and they just gave us everything hat / blanket / nappies etc so don't worry too much!

Thanks! I'd say I have packed quite minimally otherwise so will take your advice and just take one or two cellular blankets! Thanks!
