Help with induction

1st baby. Currently in hospital and they've decided to induce me in a weeks time when I'll be 37 weeks exactly. Due to pre eclampsia. I'm happy with this plan as I'm a bag of nerves worrying about baby but I'm aware it's quite early to be induced.
So
Is there anything you did/ can Recommend to help induction go quicker/ easier? If they let me out of hospital 🤞🏼 I plan to bounce on the birthing ball lots and try and do some walks. Anything else that will help? Thanks

I wasn't induced as early as you, I was induced at 40+3, but lost my plug the day I went in, so baby was probably ready anyway. Because I was induced earlier than my trust would like I had to remain in hospital throughout induction and could only go for little walks around the hospital, so you may find you're induced as an in-patient.

Bring plenty to read, listen to, eat. Anything that will keep you entertained as induction can take time. Long phone cable too!
