Third baby - what to expect? Lighthearted

Are there any little things that happen that no one mentions third time round?

Second time round I found the after pains of contractions were so so so painful and I have heard they are worse this time.

Also, had a 2nd degree tear first time, 3rd degree second time. Hoping for no tear this time!

I think just be prepared for anything! Some come super fast and some don't want to come out! My first 2 births were vaginal so everyone assumed my third would be too. However 4 days into a failed induction it soon became clear he didn't want to come and I had a section. Which I actually preferred to my 2 vaginal births! If we have a 4th I'll be having an elective section!

I think they will offer an elective section. Thanks for telling me about yours. I'm in two minds, I can def see the benefits of both.
My last baby came out in less than ten minutes so it is a concern that I won't get to hospital in time. They have stopped planned home births in my area because of lack of staff so will ask the midwifes what they suggest!
