here or in health. Just got my appointment through to repair my childbirth damage under a GA. Apparently I have a neuroma (some sort of nerve and scar tissue thingy I'm told) which is why it all still hurts.
Am now scared. Of the GA, of the embreassment and of what they are going to do. Anyone been through this? Can you share?

Haven't had the procedure you are having NMC, but have had other gynaecological surgery under a GA. The GA was possibly the best sleep I had had since DD was born - when they were trying to wake me I just kept telling them to bugger off because I was having a lovely snooze. And you needn't be embarassed about the procedure - they have seen it all a million times before. If its any comfort, the surgeon will probably never recognize you by your face..?!Good luck with the op. I'm sure it will all be much better afterwards.

Hope all went ok in Dec and you're now recovered.

I've got to go in for the same op next week - any tips/hints would be v much appreciated!

Thanks
