York Hospital

I was just wondering what people's experience of York hospital was/is?
Any useful tips would be wonderful also

I had my twins at YDH nearly 5 years ago. Everyone was wonderful, no complaints at all. I had a CS at 34w and my twins went to SCBU who were all equally wonderful. When are you due?

I’ve had two babies there - one 4yrs ago and one earlier this year. First ended up in a crash section and it was terrifying but I was well looked after and second time I was consultant led and there semi-regularly for monitoring culminating in an elective c-section (my choice) - again this was very positive and I was well looked after. They have some lovely birthing rooms with pools/baths etc. When I had my first I had a private room postnatally which I was supposed to pay for but they never actually charged us. That wasn’t available this year due to covid and the post-natal period wasn’t exactly a dream but not sure it’s better elsewhere tbh. Good luck!
