I would like a vbac and how was second pregnancy and labour

I tried for a VBAC and ended with an emergency Caesarian. Talk to your midwife and consultant about whether the reasons for a c section this time are likely to be present next and the realities of a c- section. The protocols at my hospital were that they monitor you and baby and this often means in practice that you are on your back, despite them having mobile monitors. They are also limited in the interventions they can offer you if you need help - DC2's head was tilted to the side and he got stuck, so ended up with a second section.

My c section was due to baby being breach and head tilted back so I wasn't dilating they gave me 75% chance of a vbac so I'd really like to try as I'd like a big family,if I had a natural birth I would be ttc again in 6 months, but I'm going to wait till next year to try again
