Ways to induce labour

So I’m 40 weeks exactly today and not showing any signs of going into labour anytime soon. Haven’t lost my mucus plug or anything. Is there any ways I can safely induce labour at home that has worked in peoples experience

You can look up ways to try and induce labor but my advice is to enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts.

Some quite convincing anecdotal evidence for reflexology. Research based evidence for eating 5 dates a day but you have left it a bit late for that. Could try inducing orgasm....in any way you can! Some people swear by a dose of caster oil but it's a big risk as it can make you have horrible squits as well which might be deeply unpleasant in labour.
