Hi all, my baby is very low in my pelvis and is fully engaged head down. I’m 2cm dilated and my cervix has thinned and softened. I was given a stretch and sweep to help speed up the process as I have been 2cm dilated for a week now and baby is so low it is incredibly uncomfortable for us both! I’m wanting to know if I should get my hopes up for the sweep to work? Considering it’s been 24 hours already and I’m still yet to progress with established contractions.
