Twin C section stories

Hi everyone,

My husband and I have just found out that we are expecting twins! I know we are very early in our pregnancy journey but I'm curious about the end result.

Realistically I am preparing myself mentally for having a c section.

Does anyone have any (preferably positive) stories about having a c section with twins that they would be willing to share?? Most of the threads, although still useful, seem to be about 1 baby rather than twins.

I have a c section with baby one and refused for twins, because I didn’t want to go through that again and not be able to lift the eldest or be able to drive.

The consultant signed it off IF I signed to have a C section if deemed necessary. That could be with one or both babies.

You do get a choice.

I had twins naturally, I was told as they were both head down there was no reason why I couldn't deliver them myself. I'm pleased that I didn't need to have a section, I felt it would have been so hard to not be able to be up and about in those very early weeks, when they depended on me so much 🥰
