As the title says Blush

I have name changed for this.

My DD is 10 months old, born via elective caesarean. All went well and recovery was great.

I had a vaginal birth 4 years ago which was very traumatic for with forceps, episiotomy, PPH etc hence the elective this time.

Now since I've had her, I am passing wind so much more, I can't control it. And at times it really does not smell pleasant Sad I know wind doesn't but this is something else. I'm managing to open my bowels but I don't always feel I pass it all and have to go throughout the day. And if I bear down too much my abdomen around the incision can be quite tender after.

This is really disgusting and I'm disgusted with myself as well. I feel so unattractive and so worried about going back to work and passing wind.

I'm sorry this is such an awful post. I just need some advice. Is it worth calling the GP? I'm at a loss Sad

Also to add - she was 9lb born. I'm egg and dairy free due to her being sensitive to it through breast milk.

Have you replaced egg and dairy for something else??

DH bought "very healthy" green tea and it gave me terrible gas Confused it took me a few weeks to realise what was happening.

I've replaced the dairy with Oatly - which I did for my son, too, with no issues.

I've not replaced the egg with anything.

Maybe try a different brand?

What I mean is, it's not a super worrying symptom for you to run to the GP. If you could maybe first eliminate a couple of possibilities would be easier for the GP to help you Smile think if maybe you changed something else

You’re not using the Elmlea vegan ‘cream’ are you?? I tried this when I had to go dairy free for the same reason as you and by god ConfusedBlush DH bought it for me at Christmas as a treat and boy did he (and I!) live to regret that. No idea what’s in it but it didn’t agree with me AT ALL. I’d look at your diet to find the likely culprit.
