Hi; so I am 40+2 With DC3. Have had about an hour's sleep and contractions started at 3am this morning. Coming 5-7 mins apart, over a minute long until about 9am. Now every 20 mins or so Sad. DC is constantly kicking between contractions, which is unusual as she's quiet during the day. I can't really remember with first & second DC what it was like when Labour started but has anyone else had a really active baby before birth? Thanks Flowers

No but as it is a change in movements you should really phone the hospital, they would want you in for monitoring.

Hope all is going well for you.

Both my DC were active during labour, I think the contractions disturb them. DS1 slept for hours afterwards, he must have been exhausted!

Hi I was in slow labour for a few days, the contractions was irregular but constant not painful though and then stopped, baby got all really active and 2 days later I gave birth.
