One week old son getting cold?

I took my son a & e yesterday due to him vomiting a lot and all his blood tests and urine tests come back normal which is brilliant however I've woke up this morning and it sounds like he has a cold or coming down with one, he is only one week old I didn't think they could get a cold this age due to having some immunity from the mother... First baby, I am so worried, any tips on colds in newborns? I have a humidifer would that work?

Any tips needed. Thank you

Call your midwife if you're still under midwife care, or health visitor if not. You can't be too careful with a baby so little, they should be able to advise if you need to be seen by anyone or can just treat at home or whether he's just a bit grunty as newborns often are :)
