Hi so I'm currently ttc baby #2. I Had a very normal pregnancy with my son but when he was born they realised (sorry tmi) my placenta was coming out in lumps and blood was pouring. My midwife made me get on all 4s to try and help it out (it didn't) all the while my blood was splashing on the floor the midwife was in a panic I passed out and my mum pulled the emergency cord and I woke to a room for of medical staff and a surgeon elbow deep trying to scrape the placenta out! In the end I had to go to theatre to remove the remaining placenta. I was later told I had placenta accreta I lost 4 litres of blood and am lucky to be alive!! So after all that I'm a little traumatised but I want more kids! Has anyone else had this and not had accreta the 2nd time? Will they let me have a natural birth csections terrify me! And lastly would I be classed as high risk? Sorry for the essay and Tia x

Might be worth contacting your maternity hospital and asking for a debrief of your birth and information for going forward with a future pregnancy.
