Premature labour?

Slightly nervous as I'm having tummy ache and back ache at 33 weeks pregnant. It's a constant dull ache that does seem to get slightly more intense around every 20 mins atm.

Could it be early labour realistically?

Baby is moving fine, wriggling around loads.

Any advice/previous similar stories?

@idontlikealdi what happened? This just seems pretty mild so makes me think it couldn't be anything Hmm

@c307

Get checked out. Tonight. If it is early preterm labour, the steroid injections make life a lot easier for the baby, but take a bit of time to work, so getting checked promptly is really important.

Paranoid about this, I’m 34 weeks now. Any time I’ve had period-like pains (without being tmi) it’s turned out to be solved by going to the toilet. If there’s a pattern to it definitely get checked. Contractions like that can start and stop too so doesn’t mean you’re going to have the baby this early necessarily. Hope baby stays in a while longer for you
