For all mums out there thinking about VBAC, I would just like to say that I had one last week and although I ended up with an epidural and ventouse delivery, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and my recovery level now in comparison to how I was a week after my elec section is unbelievable! I am so glad I fought to get what I wanted and would advise anyone else who feels the same to stick to their guns. The registrar who delivered my son told me he was proud that I had stood my ground and got (nearly) the delivery that I wanted and believed I would be able to achieve.

Good for yousmiling I had VBAC 11 days ago & although I had to have forceps/epi as DD was at an odd angle I'm still really pleased too.
I can't believe the difference either, I was out driving today , tbh could have done it last week but had no real need to so just waited till I was really ready. Still sore down below but nothing compared to post cs pain & I had a pretty easy recovery from my cs as well.
Feel I can enjoy my LO much more as I'm not gingerly moving about and having to ask DH to lift everything etc and I hiked my 6 year old over a massive puddle this morning, she's have had to wade through it if things had been different, lttle things like that have made it so much easier.
Congrats again.
