Stretch and sweep working or not?

Had a sweep 37+3 days for medical reasons.
That's was Thursday about 10am was thin but closed cervix. All day Friday had on and off contractions from about 4am till 10pm. They would b 45sec long ever 8-20mins for a few hours then few hours break of not having them.

Lost some of plug early Friday evening and then the rest in the today's morning along with the bloody show. And since then I've had only a few very strong contractions.

Was the sweep a fail?

Went for a 2nd sweep a few days later. And within 2 hours contractions started. 12 hours later not dilated much. Will have my water broken to help carry on

@scillygirl12 good luck. I had several sweeps and my waters broken. Those didn’t work for me and I had a c-section after 5 days. It all worked out in the end.

Good luck with getting the waters broken. I bet you just want the baby out though at this stage?

By 9am I was 4cm waters were broken and baby girl came 12.21 😁💕
