Anyone had successful early induction after previous overdue dc?

Hi all I posted the other day due to breech baby. DC3 is head down now but measuring big and I'm suffering with SPD so consultants have mentioned 39 week induction.

DC1 spontaneous @ 41+2
DC2 hind waters went but I had a bleed of unknown location so was advised to come in and have fore waters were broken. This was @ 41 weeks

I'm worried induction wouldn't work at 39 weeks as my previous DC were late and I'd end up with EMCS for failure to progress! Has anyone had any successful early inductions after being overdue with other DC?

I've had 5 births and 4 were induced.
DC1 induced at 42wks
DC2 spontaneous at 41+2
DC3 induced at 42wks (waters broken and born in 2hrs)

DC4 was induced for size at 40wks which obvs not as early was a lot earlier than my others had arrived. He did take longer to get going and I did need the drip (and epidural) but it was an uncomplicated labour and 4hrs of established labour.
Was induced again for number 5 at 41wks and again a 2hr labour after having my waters broken.

With births 3,4 and 5 my cervix was favourable from 39ish weeks which made me more confident that the inductions would work. I also think if your body has delivered vaginally before then you do stand a better chance of inductions being successful.

@BurningBenches your babies must be cosy did you find the drip made your labour more painful than the other inductions? I've had two vaginal deliveries now so hoping this goes in my favour at 39 weeks! I'm just abit wary of the drip as I've never had it before!

My first induction was pessary, followed by drip, followed by epidural, i found i had no break between contractions on the drip so when i was induced again with dc4 I said i wanted the epidural in first. Which im glad about because my contractions did ramp up to 6 in 10mins.

That said DC5 was born on Saturday and so the labour is clear in my mind. My contractions very quickly (without a drip) became continuous, thankfully labour was only 2hrs total, so I do wonder whether the continuous contractions is a my body thing.
