Anyone induced early?

I'm 36+3 and have been given labetalol for raised bp. I have had 2 urine tests with protein and my baby is measuring big 6lb 11 est at my last scan 35 weeks.

I have another appointment Friday at the hospital and they are already talking about induction, especially if I continue to show these early signs of PE. I feel fine in myself atm.

I was induced with my DD but at 39 weeks for high bp and although it took 3 days was not a bad experience. This time around cervix is still high and thick and I'm worried induction would fail. Does anyone have experience getting induced weeks before due date or with an unfavorable cervix? Or will they just suggest a section to me?

Thank you Ladies if you have any advice 🙂 x

I was induced at 37+2 with my first DD due to high blood pressure, also +3 protein in my wee. Was sent to hospital after a normal midwife app and said they were inducing me that evening, labour was super quick. Pessary went in at midnight, labour was about 3 hours from first 'period pain'. So isn't always long labour's with induction but I can't remember what they said my cervix was like. Good luck though!x

I was induced at exactly 36 weeks. Nothing happened for a few days, was told my Bishop’s Score was between 1 and 2, prepared myself for the induction to fail. Started feeling pains in the evening of 36+2, midwives didn’t think it could possibly be labour, examined me and promptly sent me over to labour ward at 5cm dilated!! DS was born at about 6am the next day, although he was my first baby and I had an epidural because I had the drip which might have prolonged things.

Good luck!
