Sweep, no symptoms?

I had a sweep this morning, I am 39 weeks today but they are inducing me on Monday due to various reasons. I haven’t felt any symptoms yet - no cramping or spotting. Baby was super active earlier but then he often is anyway. The midwife told me the baby is not engaged yet, probably because I have excess amniotic fluid.
What are other people’s experiences with the sweep? I’m hoping for a quick delivery but have a feeling he’s going to take his time 😂

Sweep did naff all. Was induced due to ivf at 40+2. Baby was born 17hrs later. With a 6 hours labour. Good luck with your induction

Never did anything for me. Induction went ahead as scheduled. Good luck for Monday, if you're still hanging on.

Had 3 sweeps, none did anything. Induced at 40+10, failed to dilate beyond 3cm despite full force of the drip, EMCS. Baby did not want to come out! Hopefully yours does x

Statistically, only 1/8 sweeps tend to work.
