Desperate am i in labour ?

Feel really tearful just been reading all the lovely birth announcements and still my baby is not here feels like its never coming!! not that overdue yet so no real need to feel too bad but had two false starts last week !! two younger children had terrible tummy bugs this week - slipped in sick and damaged pelvis so can hardly walk and since 4 pm yesterday i have had cramping odd contractions and nausea thinking maybe just getting kids bug but not sure pain seems to be on left side more baby still doing olympic gymnastic moves so cant be labour can it? getting checked at 2pm at clinic later. feels better just getting that off my chest!!

How close or late to your due date are you?

Sorry no help, no idea really, but good luck. Hope all is well. I seem to remember dd moving around when I was in labour. How exciting, a baby on their way. Wonderful.

in felt dd moving down for 9weeks before giving birth mw kept saying your not in labour your body just getting ready hth

2 days to go on second date given they did give me an initial date of 8th November! Just feel like such a twit going up there each time only to head back hours later but last time i had a show and contractions were 3 min apart although it all stopped once we got to hospital!! somebody said third babies were notorious for this!

No need to get upset, your baby will arrive sooner or later!
All good things are worth waiting for.

dont worry too much its best to keep check on things rather than ignore it
btw by my lmp my dd was due 4th may 06 first scan showed me at 6weeks so my edd moved to may 28th i had dd 6,6,06

Aww Fees, I sympathise I'm 5 days overdue with my first.

dd666 wow thats interesting I though my ds was late he was due 7/08 but didn't come till the 26/08 problem was i didnt have a proper period before he came i was on suppression treatment for endomettriosis 18 months before - i came off it obst said no chance of getting pregnant but boy was he wrong got pregnant straight away so were you induced or did they just let you go that long?

GoodGollyMissMolly - how exciting your first is so special they all our but life is never the same after your first i felt like i could do anything after having my first - good luck enjoy every minute - hope you don't have to wait too much longer either

i was only week over by there scan dates had two sweeps cause i sat crying in mw's office one sunday another week later on monday had her early hours tuesday hth

dd666 ouch two sweeps !!! my sister in law had a sweep and said it was more painful than the eventual labour!

the first mw wasnt my norm she thought she was a vet must have she hurt said i wasnt ready,
was in labour week later went au and had dr do the second as well as swabbing me had show straight after that one wasnt all that bad went home had tea at my moms went had bath at my house by 9oclock i was ready to go back hospital wasnt examined as was in too much pain was asked what painrelief i wanted had waterbirth with gas and air 12:51 dd arrived
