If your due date is on a weekend are they likely to do it late the week before or early the week after ? Obviously the hospital doesn't do planned sections on weekends and mine don't do Fridays either by due date is a Friday

Gah nevermind

I needed mine by 36+6, which was a Sunday, as I had vasa previa. Had it at 36+4 (after steroids for baby’s lungs).

I was meant to be 35 weeks then I pushed them to 37 weeks then they decided that steroids were a bad idea for me and pushed it to 38 weeks so really I think that they can schedule for anytime.

You can ask, they can say no but you can ask if that suits you better to go in a bit earlier.
