waters breaking

Hi guys, I had a quick chat with the maternity unit and i’m following their advice. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and I lost a little bit of my mucus plug and had a tiny amount of leaking. They told me to wear a pad and monitor for the next hour or two and see if anything else comes out as this can be normal at 32 weeks but can obviously also be signs of labour.

the anxiety is setting in as I really hate the hospital and all of the inevitable exams and things that come with pregnancy.

I was just wondering what happens if you go in for them to check if your waters have broken?

For me they took the pad I was wearing and tested it to see if it was my waters, I knew it was anyways because of the amount.

Hope all is okay xx
