Mucus Plug, Or Not

I'm currently 9 days overdue with baby no.3. I had a successful sweep done Friday morning at 9.30am and had cramping the rest of Friday. Nothing Saturday or the majority of today. Except for the last few hours this evening when every time I've wiped after the toilet I seem to be wiping a decent bit of what I think is my mucus plug (I've not previously lost one on my other two children). When I wipe it seems to be around 5cm in length or so (can be a lot shorter on occasions) of what appears to look like a slight yellow snotty texture kind of thing (also a small bit of clear, slightly jellyish stuff too on the rest of the toilet paper). Does look different to normal discharge (which is generally a bit more creamy looking, sorry for tmi). I'm just wondering if this sounds like my mucus plug coming out in bits or not. And if so, how soon is labour likely to start happening, especially as I'm overdue. Tia.

No idea! My first two were induced and I never saw it and with my third it happened whilst I was in the pool. Good luck op, your baby will be here soon x

Yes sounds like mucus plug.

There's no set time on what happens next but good luck, seems like it's happening.

Thanks
