VBAC after 1 Csection and 1 Natural

Just debating what to do. DC1 I had a completely natural delivery but got a bad tear and DC2 I had an elective Csection because I was worried about tearing again.

Anyway, now ttc again and thinking about birth options. I’m really unsure. This is definitely the last baby too so future deliveries wouldn’t be a factor.

I don’t know much about the topic myself however my mum had a water homebirth after 6 c sections can you believe and everything went great, she did her research extensively though.

I think if a natural delivery is what you want to do then go for it, I’m sure midwives will go through the risks etc and you can make an informed decision when the time comes ☺️

@Lorw oh Wow. I don’t know if I’m more in awe of your mom’s 6 Csection recoveries or the strength it must have taken to then have a home birth!

DC2 was a lockdown baby (am in the uk) and I think that influenced my decision as well. It’s made it hard to know why I decided what I did and what I would do next time if that makes sense.
