Hi

Which did you buy/use the disposable or the washable?

Did you need them? Not planning on breast feeding how long should I expect them to leak Blush

I use the washable ones from Tesco - they last for ages and are much easier to position than the disposables. I'm still breastfeeding so can't answer the leak question.

These are all of my questions too 🤣 I’m having a section and hoping I can maybe give colostrum in hospital but don’t want to encourage milk to be produced 🙈 I think it comes in around day 3 but I’ve seen some things saying it won’t have fully dried up til about 4 weeks after

I’m having a section too, I’m just not sure what to expect from the boob department lolHmm
They really don’t tell you how glamorous post birth is...

Lansinoh disposables were the only ones that could cope with my leaking. Usually if the baby slept longer than normal overnight. They are amazing!
During the day if you're feeding regularly I used washable ones as well as the disposables (not at the same time!) or when the sleep/feeds settle down a bit and your boobs don't get so engorged.

But if you're going for disposables, Lansinoh were the best imo. I tried lots of Boots etc and either they didn't stick in properly or didn't absorb as much.

I think it depends on the person though as I don't think many other people seemed to leak as much as I did!

If you didn’t breastfeed how long did it take for them to stop?

I second the lansinoh breast pads if you go down the disposable route. I only bought them initially because the cheap supermarket ones were sold out and I assumed they were all the same quality...they are VERY definitely not and safe to say I didn't go back!

Haha very true 😂 I doubt there will be anything coming out while in hospital when it’s a section but some people say there is 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t want to test it before I go in in case it brings on labour!
