C Section Anxiety

I have a c section booked for next week and the anxiety is really getting to me. I feel sick and it is giving me a bad stomach.

Any tips on dealing with the anxiety? And trying to sleep in the lead up to surgery!

I have no tips but my c-section is one of my happiest memories. I had all this irrational shit running through my head beforehand and my biggest regret is that I didn't just have a word with myself because I ruined a good chunk of my pregnancy worrying about it. The actual event was lovely, really calm and relaxed. I highly recommend it!

@OutComeTheWolves Aw what a lovely reassuring message 😌 that sounds like me right now, worrying the whole way through the pregnancy and I know whatever happens won’t be anywhere near as bad as the situations I’ve made up in my mind 🤦🏼‍♀️

You have to think abut the positives - vaginal births really aren’t all that. Contractions, crowning, transition, tears , prolapses, stitches.

Some reassuring messages. I want to be able to relax and enjoy it so I think I’ll be having that word with myself.
