37w - Labour Sign Or Not

I'm 37w today with my 3rd baby. In the last half hour I've been getting some back and stomach ache and feel ever so slightly nauseous. It's just come out of nowhere. I've not done anything so far this morning, just a lazy Saturday morning with my OH and children. Labour has started completely different on my other two children (although on my daughter the contractions were in my back but were more in waves; I'm not sure that these are). Wondering if anyone else's labour started off similar or whether I'm just thinking too much into it.

Oh it could be! How are things now @HaNNaHC92?

Well I've had an hour long hot bath. It's definitely still there but not getting no worse. I suppose it's just wait and see. Either it'll progress into something more or its just my body getting ready. It's the unknown I hate, haha

It still could be, just a bit slow at getting started. Hope you manage to have a nice tea tonight in case it all starts off properly later Smile

I had this with DC3 (with the other 2 contractions started out of nowhere and there was no mistaking it). Just take it easy, I was in slow labour for nearly a week x

If you are having a continuous back and abdominal pain, I would contact the labour ward for advice.
