Talk to me about VBACs

I’ve had one natural delivery and one elective Csection (covid delayed a load of follow up tests/physio, and I had a bad tear during the first birth). But I haven’t really had too many problems following either births.

Planning on ttc baby 3 at the end of this year but already giving this some thought.

I just wondered if anyone had had (or attempted) a VBAC? What did your birth plan look like? Am I mad for even considering this? :)

I did it on DC2 after a horrible experience on DC1 that ended in a section after 40 hours of slow and horrific labour!

I used a hypnobirthing programme and I believe it's what got me through. I felt so calm and in control the whole time. I also made sure I was physically fit throughout my pregnancy (I soevt a lot of time with my feet up first time round Blush) Baby was 9 pounds and the birth was amazing (albeit a long time ago now!) I think if it's something you really want then prepare yourself physically and mentally as best you can and hope it happens - at the end of the day things change in a heartbeat as you know and the only thing that really matters is that baby arrives safely for you both.
