Aww bless you, I would go back and be reassessed. If you cant walk or talk through them you may be progressing nicely.

Poo back in and get checked

Best thing you can do from here on in........listen to your body. Forget how many Cm dilated you are. It can all change in an instant. I went from 3cm to fully dilated in 1hr and 20 mins. Listen to your instincts. Go if you need to go x

Please trust your instincts and go back. You should be checked.

I went from 2cm to baby in my arms in 2.5 hours with my DS so things really can change quickly.

I went from 4 cm to baby being born in 30 minutes. If you feel like you cant take the pain anymore, probably best to go in and get checked again.

I suggest just go back in even if they send you home. I was having contractions every 8 mins and then suddenly contractions every 2 mins...went hospital in immense pain screaming...gave birth 20 mins later...

Thanks for your replies ladies, I gave birth Sunday morning to a little boy x

Congratulation!! I gave birth on Sunday too!

I feel like the person that told you contractions need to be 3 mins apart needs a good smack in the face. My contractions at that rate meant that I was pushing already! I hate that they make us wait at home till we're in excruciating pain.
