I'm 4 months after having my first baby via emergency c section
I've noticed lately when I've done certain things like vacuuming and walking long distances even sex my upper stomach on each side my belly button going up to my waist gets sore like when you have done loads of sit ups
I went for an hours walk yesterday and walked quite fast and today I feel like I've done loads of sit ups
Is this normal I also feel like it still sits out loads
Has anyone else experienced this
Is it just my muscles starting to try go back normal
Any advise and help be great just worried incase something wrong

Could be you have a diastasis recti (I had EMCS too and I do but think it's mostly due to muscles overstretching during pregnancy) you can check by lying down on your back with your feet on the floor then lift your head up and feel around your belly button, further up and further down. You might notice that you can push quite deep down into your belly between your stomach muscles. Measure the gap in fingers width. Anything 2 or more the Dr should refer you to a physio for help. They'll give you exercises to help it get back together. In the meantime don't overuse your tummy muscles for sit ups etc as you could make the problem worse (if that's what you've got!) I still looked 5 months pregnant at 5 months Pp but I got back to nearly normal before I got pregnant again (likely to make. It worse this time!)
