Have you had two (or more) water births?

I had a water birth with my first DD, nearly 7 years ago now. I’m 38 weeks tomorrow with my second baby and would love another water birth, pretty much want an identical experience to be honest Grin
Anyone care to share if you’ve had more than one water birth and how they went? Smile

Hello!
I've had all four of my boys by waterbirth in a midwife led birth centre.
All four were straight forward and pretty quick! After birthing in the water the first time, I knew that's how I wanted to each time after, and I was lucky enough to be able to. 😊

Yes! My second and third were waterbirths.

My first time in the pool I was in for an hour or two before he came out. Pushed for 20 minutes or so, came out back to back.

Second time I got in the pool less than an hour after I’d arrived, at which point I was 3cm dilated. Born within the hour with a push - just sort of fell out.

Thanks for the replies! I had my DD at 38+4 in a water birth and I really want the same again, but I’m now 39+2 with this baby and being offered a sweep and induction dates getting mentioned by midwife, which I really don’t want!

PS I was in the birth pool for 6 hours last time with DD.
