VBAC Vaginal Birth After Cesaerean - How was your experience

Hello All,
Just been reading a thread from May 2006 and wondered what happened to all of those deciding whether or not to go for VBAC. How long did you leave if between pregnancies? How supportive were the consultants and midwives? Any additional pain/complications during pregnancy due to scar?

My DS is 10m and was born by elective C-section (he was breech). I never wanted C-section in the first place but didn't want to risk his health. Not yet trying for another but would like to seriously consider VBAC if we do. Any advice/stories welcome.

love2dance - there is a Support for imminent VBACers thread in the childbirth section ( I would do the link if I knew how to .

I have it on my watch list as I'm hoping for VBAC with no. 2 (hoping to conceive next summer. DS is 16 months and was semi emergency due to that old chestnust "failure to progress")

Their stories are inspiring and they have lots of great links.

Thanks Foxy. Off to have a look now...
PS, my cousin's wife was emergency C-section first time round then second child was Vaginal so it can be done!
