Are these early contractions?

I'm 38+5, second DC but DC1 was back to back and the pain was all in my back, this feels like it's sort of in my bum a bit?

For the past hour I've been having a squeezing sensation with a slightly painful peak and then it ebbs back down. Not massively painful, but enough to notice they've been coming and going, about 11 times in the past hour.

It kind of feels like when he headbutts my cervix, except more painful. My bump dropped yesterday too!

No bloody show and no waters. Does this sound promising? I've got a sweep next wednesday and will be induced on the 19th, but I'd rather not have to tbh! 😬

It does sound like you could be.. Or a good practice before the real thing. My first baby was late but 2nd arrived quite quickly at 38 weeks so I wish you a similar birth... 🤞

DC1 was 40+10, I'll be very happy if this one comes in the next few days, touch wood

Snap! That's how late my DC1 was... So was quite suprised with DC2... Have an early night... You might get an early wake up call...

No baby or contractions this morning (arrrrrggghhh) but a constant low pressure. We'll see what happens today!
