Caesarean seat belts?

Hi all,

Have been advised by other MNers to get one of those seat belts that you can wear when pregnant that takes pressure off your womb, but can also be used after if you've had a C section so that the belt doesn't rest on your scar.
Sounds a great idea, anybody used one after a C section and if so what brand was it.
Have found a Baby Safe belt by Clippasafe on e bay, but not sure if this would do.

My doctor told me to just put a pillow across my lap post-C section, and that seemed just fine. Actually, quite liked it! All nice and snuggly...

Hmmm never heard of these, and I can't really see the point. If your scar is anything like mine it will be so low that a normal car seat belt won't go anywhere near it.

spend your money on Big Pants instead

I think I might have been one of those people who advised a pregnancy seatbelt after cs. I used the Besafe one. I'm not sure how much it helped more than psychologically, but it was more comfy than a normal seat belt, and I was back driving in 2 weeks.

i had no problem all three times with just using a normal seat belt - incision was so low - no problem.
