Waiting

I've been waiting to be induced since this morning. I thought we'd be in by 3pm latest. Just been told it can be any time and just be on standby 😫

I know they're busy and don't want to be in there if there's no midwife to look after me. just so bored of waiting after getting my hopes up today. I'm 41+3 and going to get my waters broken.

Anyone else had a long wait for induction or waiting to go in?

I had to wait all day once when I went in for a c section. Not only was it dull but I remember being very hungry.

Hopefully not much longer to wait for you.

It's the waiting and anticipation that I can't take lol

It's such a long process sometimes even when they've started it. Mine was 3 days in total with 2 days spent labouring. Try to rest and enjoy the calm before the storm.
Get some sleep in if you can, or a bath or some reading if you've brought any. Best of luck for you and hope you're meeting your baby asap 😊
