Hello, looking for experiences of induction second time around after having one in first pregnancies. I was induced at 37 weeks with my first baby due to growth restriction and the whole process took 5 days, resulting in the drip but I didn’t need a csection in the end.

I am being induced again at 37 weeks again for the same reason - would be good to know how others have found it second time around especially if they were also induced early, I’m hoping it will be quicker this time/less intervention needed as my body has been through it before, but know it depends on the baby’s readiness too!

I was induced both times st 36 weeks. First time they broke my waters after the pessary didn't work. Very painful. Second time they said they didn't do that anymore, so would restart the next day. Went into labour during the night. Baby born next morning. That was 11 years ago, so things have probably changed again.

I was induced at 37 weeks. I was already 2cm dilated and with broken waters when they started and my labour actually slowed down when ~I was on the drip so I ended up with an emergency c-section.
