2nd labour after induction

My first baby was overdue. I was induced at 41 weeks. It wasn’t the nicest birth but once I was in established labour it was less then 3hrs till he was born. Everyone keeps saying that’s a quick labour for a first baby. I’m very pleased it wasn’t a really long active labour.
I was induced by hormone drip. Did the drip make my labour quicker? Would it have been reasonably quick without the drip? What’s my chances of a similar time labour next time? Anyone had an drip induction with baby number 1 & went on to have a spontaneous labour with baby 2?

Me. I was 8 hours start to finish for DC1 (induced at 40+10). DC2 was spontaneous. It was a different labor entirely with DC2, because I had been having contractions on and off all day, but they were no worse than period cramps. Things kicked off once I got DC1 to bed, then it was about 6 hours start to finish. Overall, DC2 labor was a better, “easier”, and much more manageable experience.
