Hospital reviews! Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, London

Hello! I’m going to be delivering soon in QEH in Woolwich. Just wondering if anyone had any comments about the hospital? I’m planning to go to delivery suite as I am sure I’d need help with pain!! I haven’t seen any videos of the hospital and they are not doing any tours either since COVID. I’ve had my scans there but haven’t been able to see the place properly (ie their birth centre or delivery suite or post natal ward).

It was my local hospital for a while and it’s a busy big hospital. I didn’t have my babies there but have been there many times with my children and always got good care despite it being big and busy. I also saw the ante natal team a couple of times and they seemed fine, like other hospitals I had to go to. My NCT group had a couple of people in it that refused to go to QE but I also know a good ten people who have given birth there and said it has been good although the after care could have been better. Again possibly down to it being big and busy.

I’m due to have my elective next week hopefully it’s not that bad on the ward 😫😫
