I would get your wound checked. Mine never smelt but was still sore at 4 weeks. Started to feel better about 6 weeks

ParadiseLaundry · 24/12/2020 05:03

From my experience I don't think that does sound normal. Are you still under the care of your midwife? Or could you call 111 and try to get an urgent appointment today?

ke15 · 24/12/2020 05:08

pee not see. @ParadiseLaundry* no I got discharged from her two or three weeks ago she was useless anyway always ignored me 🤷‍♀️
@SleeplessinEastSussex my wound looks fine it's not red or swollen anything everyone who's looked at it says it's healing great and is a clean cut
Thanks both for your replies I will just mention it to my health visitor after Christmas and see what she says

If it smells it could be infected so you should get it checked out. Just call your gp for advice. My csection took me about 8 weeks to feel “normal” took much longer than I expected to recover.

Do you mean your pee smells? It sounds like you have a UTI, call your GP today you may well need antibiotics, I wouldn't leave it until after Christmas.

ke15 · 24/12/2020 10:01

@Sunshinegirl82 yea when I wee and I still have the feeling I had straight after having the catheter taken out the midwifes said it's bruising. Surely it should have gone by now it's been a month today. It's not like a sting like a uti i can't really explain it
