I had my little one back in March after a planned C section as she was breach. Three days later I ended back in hospital with a PE. I was told it was very small and was lucky. The hospital also managed inject an air embolism into my CV system while diagnosing me which only added to all the anxiety alongside the Covid pandemic! I don’t really understand how it happened since the midwives were injecting Fragmin but I have accepted it. I have had a bit of PTSD but I am desperate to have a second. I have been told I will be blood thinners as soon as I get pregnant which I am ok with but I am so scared about getting another PE next time round.
Has anyone been through this and gone on to have a second or had any experience on giving birth on blood thinners?
