What birth day would you prefer?

I'm due to be induced at 38 weeks due to pre eclampsia.
I'm booked for 23rd December, this is in fact my birthday! I have always moaned about how close my birthday is to xmas as everyone by 23rd is on the xmas vibe and busy with families, works xmas do's etc.
I have asked if they would induce me sooner which they won't but have said they can do it a few days later. I have been told also once induced it can take up to 3 days for baby to arrive so making it worse, baby could be born on xmas day, boxing day.
Do I leave as it and go with 23rd and hope for the best or do I move it to 26th/27th? I can then have a xmas day as planned and baby may even arrive in 2021 as planned.
I'm being monitored for bloody pressure and at present its quite good so hoping it stays this way and won't put baby at risk. If this were to change ofcourse I won't be picky about dates I'll just get baby out when safest to.
What would you do?

I can't think of a worse way to spend Christmas to be honest. If they are OK with induction taking 3 days it can't be that urgent so I'd delay. Obviously if things get worse you can reassess.

I'd delay it if I was you. I was induced at 37 weeks as I had pre eclampsia and Dd took 17 hours to arrive.

There's pros & cons of before or after Christmas but if I could choose I'd wait as long as possible after Christmas. MILs birthday is 7 jan & it's nice to have something to look forward to afterwards.

Plus, as soon as boxing Day is over I'm happy to take the tree down & put it all away so would definitely focus on the birthday.

They’re both a bit rubbish tbh, just before Christmas everyone is geared up for Christmas, just after... they can’t be bothered because they’ve just done Christmas.

So if you can, pick what suits you better in terms of giving birth.
