Hi so I had a baby four weeks ago, and I had stopped bleeding at two weeks now I have started bleeding again. First it was brownish colored (the first day) and today (the second day) it’s bright pink. I thought it might be my period but it’s extremely light and I don’t have any cramping anyone else had this happen to them?

I had a baby 18 days ago. My midwife told me on Saturday that my period could come back from day 21 and to be aware I could be fertile again around then. I imagine it's your first period. With my last DD I found them very irregular for at least 4 months.

Forgot to mention that I was exclusively breastfeeding, and everyone told me that I wouldn't get a period for ages if I was breastfeeding. My body had other ideas.

Post partum bleeding can stop start. It's usually finished within 6 weeks but can last up to 6 months without being cause for concern. Your period can return 21 days post delivery, though it's unusual. You can have both postpartum bleeding and menstruation at the same time.
