Lochia stop and restart

Hi all

Just looking for some reassurance.

I am 3 weeks PP and my bleeding has gone from heavy bright red, a peachy colour and then really light and watery which seems to be the right steps. However the last couple of days I have had spells of fresh red blood. I've not got any infections as Dr did a swab for something else (before blood started again) and I've definitely not overdone it. I've stayed in last couple of days watching films.

So my question is did anyone have stop and restart lochia and they hadn't exercised or over done it?

Give it another couple of weeks as long as you feel well and it doesn't smell.
Remember that you have a wound roughly the size of a dinner plate!
You could always ring your midwife (if you haven't been discharged from their service), or your GP for reassurance if you're still worried.

Yep, mine stopped and started until 6 weeks ish it was so annoying as i swear it came out of nowhere!

Thank you! So odd as I'm not overdoing it, like going for walks or house chores (husband on hand!)
So frustrating when it disappears and comes back as it gives you false hope :-(
