Sweep at 38weeks

Hi Ladies,
I'm having a sweep shortly at 38+1 weeks and wondered if anyone else has had one? Successful or unsuccessful.
I'm booked in to be induced at 39weeks
This is my third baby if that makes a difference and my other 2 were born at 39+2 and 40 naturally with no intervention.
Many Thanks

I should also add I've been having early labour symptoms (back ache, cramps, weight loss, nausea, nesting and exhaustion) for over a week but no strong contractions and my waters are still in tact.

What’s your bishops score?

Hey Op! I did... at 37 + 3 she was born the next morning :-) I was also booked in for induction (at 38 weeks) so the sweep prevented it!
The sweep pushed me into labour, she was so low down though and had been since 30 weeks. I had been high risk of pre term labour though as my cervix was weak due to previous lletz so I think that might have helped as well. She was my 2nd xx

Change of plan they can't do it as the baby's head is really low and my cervix is behind her head so will have to wait until the induction
