First period experiences

I had my son on 29th September
My bleeding stopped around 2 weeks ago on Friday I had light cramps and had some pink staining today I went to the toilet its red and had a tiny clot
It's mostly coming out when I go to the toliet I'm only wearing a liner
I'm breastfeeding but only during the day
Could this be my period if it's this light

I was told your first period would be really heavy and terrible

Anyone had light period

I had my second baby on 4th September and just got my period and it’s literally like a tap, just pouring out. My postnatal bleeding stopped and came back a couple of times so maybe it’s that? I think you’d be certain if it was your period xx

My first period after my dd was very heavy and painful and I've heard others saying that but it doesn't mean it'll be the same for everyone I guess. I'm sure it started off lighting and then ramped up though so maybe give it a day and re assess it the. Xx

My first period was fairly light, it happened about 3 months after the birth even though I was exclusively breastfeeding night and day. Its a myth that breastfeeding keeps your period away, in some people that's true, in others it's really not (and trust me I did about 16 feeds a day including 6 overnight)! It's just bad luck x

My first period after birth was light but I always had light periods anyway. I got mine 26 days after birth so right on time (I have a 24-26 day cycle). I then didn't have one for about 35 days and then they came back regularly

You've made a lot of posts about this now. It'll be your period but if your worried you need to phone the dr. My first period was heavy and probably lasted longer but then they just settled back in again as normal x
