Leicester General Hospital current Covid rules..?

Hi
Has anyone been to have their baby at Leicester General Hospital really recently? Or fairly recently?
I was just wondering what the rules are with having your partners there with you?
I suffer from very bad anxiety, white coat hypertension and I have slight hypochondria. So as you might be able to imagine, it's a huge huge mental struggle.
What I need, is for my partner to be with me the whole time I'm in the hospital. I'd also very much prefer him not to wear a mask but that's something I can come to terms with.
I know some places only allow them in for stage 3 of labour, and I honestly think it's disgusting because we're allowed to have a group gathering of 6, but our partners aren't allowed in to our appointments or for the birth of their own child!

So yeah, does anyone know the rules at LGH? Will my partner be allowed in with me the entire time I'm there?

I'm pretty sure they're allowed in from active labour, which if you're not being induced should be pretty much the whole time you're there. I think you'd have to be examined without them then they're allowed in if you're far enough along. Haven't had my baby there yet but due to in the next couple of weeks.
They also have fairly good visiting compared to a lot of hospitals of 3 hours each day.

You could ask your midwife the current rules, they will know the details.
